We’re pleased to present the 2007-2008 edition of Beaver Creek Magazine – a wealth of information about the resort as well as a forum for the Beaver Creek merchants and other businesses. Inside these pages, you’ll find insider information to create the memories from which dream trips are made.We’ve placed a lot of focus in this issue on Beaver Creek’s culinary offerings. The resort is growing in leaps and bounds as a culinary destination, and we offer a variety of stories about the restaurants, events and other programs that make our little slice of heaven a gustatory phenom. From barbecue to fine dining, unique cocktails and the arrival of Spago to the resort, it all begins here. Beaver Creek is also known as a mecca for artists, and we take a look at some of the great galleries in the Arts & Culture section. Catch up on what’s going on with this season’s New Yorker-Humor on the Slopes event as well as a neat story about a sculptor who builds classical instruments out of ice. Another big focus of this season’s issue is family. Beaver Creek has become one of the top family destinations in the country, and we take a look at some of the best ways to enjoy everything the resort has to offer in the “Family Fun” section. Of course, we couldn’t let this issue go by without a tribute to Gerald Ford. We celebrate the late president’s contribution to Beaver Creek and also take a look at the World Forum event that is one of his local legacies.
